Getting to rental cars at Los Angeles International Airport
LAX’s Rental Car Center opened on March 11, 2026. The airport currently directs customers of center-based companies to courtesy shuttles from the terminals; other off-airport agencies use a separate connection.
- Check whether your reservation is with a company at the RCC or with an off-airport agency.
- For an RCC company, go outside baggage claim on the Lower/Arrivals level to the purple Rental Car Shuttles sign and board your company’s courtesy shuttle.
- For agencies in the airport’s off-airport list, follow the pink LAX Shuttles signs, take the LAX Economy Parking shuttle and follow signs to the off-airport rental-company waiting area.
