Booking payment does not prove pickup eligibility
A website can accept payment for a reservation even when the operating branch requires a different qualifying card at pickup. The important question is not only how you can book; it is what the named renter must present when the agreement begins.
Treat each non-credit method separately
Debit, prepaid, virtual cards, mobile wallets and cash are not interchangeable categories.
- Debit may be conditional on itinerary, age, documents and vehicle class.
- Prepaid cards may work for final payment but not pickup qualification.
- A virtual card or wallet may fail a physical-card requirement.
- Cash qualification, where offered, can follow a separate advance process.
Use a conservative decision path
Run the exact-trip checker, open the branch evidence and treat Unknown or Conflict as a task to resolve—not as a likely approval. If a counter representative clarifies a material exception, ask for written terms connected to your reservation.

Questions renters ask
Can I use somebody else's card?
Do not plan on it. Published policies commonly require the qualifying card in the main renter's name, and our checker treats a name mismatch as a serious blocker.
Does 'pay at counter' mean cash is accepted?
No. It describes timing, not the accepted payment or qualification method. Check the branch's forms-of-payment terms.
